While I'm at it, I'll bet you a trunk full of rare Kryptonites any narrative problems these solo films had could've been solved by giving their title characters each other's phone number.
I know nobody wants to hear it, but if they want this DC film reboot to hold together, all they need to do is bolt these contradictory forces together and sit back while they stabilize the rest of the universe. (IMO, Bale's Batman could've fixed the Man of Steel misfire, too, btw.)
