Recently I had the chance to tour the Delaware Skills Center & celebrate a $1M+ federal investment to purchase and renovate a new facility! This Center has been training the next gen of health care & construction professionals and this investment will deepen their impact in Delaware.

Building affordable housing starts with ensuring reliable infrastructure. That is why I am proud to have secured $250,000 for this project in Laurel — which will  expand and strengthen the sewer capacity to support a new housing structure.

Paid leave and childcare for all are the kinds of big and bold economic policies that Americans of all different ideological backgrounds are demanding.

I don’t always get to share good news after voting on the floor, but today I do: the first major housing bill in decades — the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act — has passed Congress. It’ll help Delawareans afford housing and I was proud to vote yes.

2/ I am proud that, alongside our entire congressional delegation, I was able to deliver over $1 million for critical improvements and enhancements for the Sharp.
