Tried a new bread machine recipe for a milk and honey loaf. Nice flavor, moist. Did not rise as hoped. Would go for a darker crust next time. But clearly was a hit here at home.

I am NOT a good cook. Recipes have to be fairly simple for me not to ruin them. The air fryer has been a life saver in this hot weather to avoid oven use. Decent chick parm tonight. Please share your fav AF recipes. I have rosacea so I can't do spicy. But I'm open to suggestions!

My first German Shepherd was like that. She would shivvy the stragglers and if they couldn't catch up, she'd block the leaders on the path until her "flock" was together. 😂

I know that cucumbers are probably one of the easiest vegetables to grow, and I may well have cucumbers coming out of my ears soon, but I grew this beauty myself and I couldn't be more proud of it than if I'd given birth to it.

No one is more annoyed by the AI revolution than people who can write a sentence. Basically, having any ability to write now is suspect--you will be accused of being AI at some point. It feels like you are being accused of being a witch, of holding a rare type of magic that only the machines are now allowed to have.

Seen on this morning's walk with the dogs : mountain laurel and flame azalea. Most of the time, the mountain laurel is bonkers this time of year, I only spy one or two flame azalea's in the woods. This year was the exact opposite.

Today's bread, made in a Dutch oven, using the basic focaccia recipe from 3 Doughs 60 Recipes. I have a cheap oven that gets too hot, so I've had to lower the temp, shorten the bake time and today, added a tray of water beneath it. First time haven't scorched bottom so 🤞it baked properly.
