I can’t decide if pictures of the President in the Oval Office surrounded by gold knickknacks remind me more of Imelda Marcos‘ 3000 pairs of shoes, or Smaug snoring on his mounds of shiny treasure. Though he’s certainly got more in common with an old lady hoarding shoes than with a sleeping dragon.
Surely the Justice who actually worked for the company that developed Roundup recused himself, right? Because that would have been the smart thing to do.
Obama Appreciation Day! 8 years of leadership from a man who remembered the people at the bottom of the pyramid—& 4 more years from the man he chose to be his VP. Can we find leaders like this again? As President Obama kept reminding us: Yes We Can Hey, remember when we had Presidents who smile?

I am so disappointed in the renderings of prezzy’s Triumphal Arch. Really, how trite. That has been done to death. I suggest a massive depiction of his own foot commemorating the bonespur that saved him from Nam. Kind of like this, with a walk-thru arch. A bit chicken-foot-ish, but hey, that works.
We could have had the smart sane lady in charge but noooo, she had a goofy giggle & omg, wasn’t it so much better to elect a prez whose only flaws seem to be doing all those things he predicted a president Harris would do plus his Epstein adjacency & a touch of despotic-ness & the racism & stuff
Tom Homan went to work on border control in 1984. He’s worked under Reagan, GHW Bush, Clinton, GW Bush, Obama, Biden & both terms of the current guy. 42 years of Tom Homan blowing hot or cold depending on who his boss is. Homan IS the failed system.

I’ve been looking at this, downloaded the pattern but haven’t actually made it yet. It’s one of the Bernat free patterns. Maybe too fussy? Could be done in single color stockinette or garter stitch, I think, if that’s more appropriate.
