Thank you, rain, for clearing out the smoke and keeping the fire threat down in my area of the world . . .
You can barely see the Bridgers behind the smoke coming from the fires incinerating my hometown of Spokane, Washington, four hundred miles away. This mountain range is almost 10k feet high, but you can't tell it is sizeable with all the haze.

Went with a simple pumpkin design this year. Roasting seeds today and handing out some candy later with The Shining playing in the background. Haven't picked a costume yet but I have all day. Happy Halloween everyone!

If one encounters a Boneyard cocktail lounge on one’s travels, one must stop. And if one stops, one must of course order the “Hello, Clarice,” whether one is a mixed drink drinker or not.
It was a rare occurrence when someone would beat me to the beach in the early morning hours, despite a surrounding metro area of ~3 million people (greater metro ~18 mil).
