And the evening movie is…. Not seen this for a while. Part of my motivation to get back into physical media was to crisply watch the film properly with most of my attention.
The last seven LED volley fire bases in production for my Very Sensible SYW project. These from Warlord Games pre-manufactured. With these I'll be able to place one for every infantry regiment in the collection as currently planned.
Painting quality control suffering from shaking hands during extra time. Nerves meant significant progress 😵💫
Prototype for IR 19 - Pálffy for my SYW project. The last white coated regiment I need to do. Just his forty plus pals to do now.
CR2 - Prinz von Preußen fully based, magnabased and labelled. This the last unit in the current specification of my SYW project.
My Undead Horde of Ezra Dinn project for DR2 continues with, erm, Ezra Dinn. I did think of going for a dramatic Necromancer model, but it’s more thematic to have him scrawny and grumpy. His Wraith King bodyguard also based. 336 figures for the year, and the end in sight for this project.
Fool that I am, I have imported a 3in1 pen/cil from japan, so that I might have the colour I want.
Kickoff delayed by an hour? Fortunately I have some light reading!
Sunday afternoon hobby. These wraiths will form the Five Dead Kings* bodyguard for the Necromancer in my Undead Horde of Ezra Dinn/All Prints project. 90% Speedpaint, 335 figures for the year. *with one spare if I want them as a unit on their own.
And the evening movie is… I’ve gone for the extended cut. Never seen that, nor the film in twenty years?!
The numbers/notches represent 6 inches and twelve inches but also the max 45 degree turn if close to enemy. Sterling work by @warbases.bsky.social
Custom work from Warbases for my Very Silly SYW project. Some more bases for my LED volley fire templates, some arc of fire measures. Flank/move templates and turning templates, which needed some maffs to work out the hypotenuse for a 30x6cm unit footprint and the length of arcs to account for that
A small favourite period of mine as well. I have been using TMWWBK, but I think the toolbox of Xenos Rampant might work better if the names of the buffs/debuffs were ignored.
I bought this Briggs and Riley suitcase thirteen years ago. One of the wheel tyres had given up the ghost. Company sent me a full set of four new wheels free of charge the next day. Ginger assistants only slowed things down by about 50%
Next up on the conveyor belt - The Necromancer Ezra Dinn and his bodyguard of Five Dead Kings. And a spare! For my Dragon Rampant project. All prints.
12 Prussian Cuirassiers of the Prinz von Preußen regiment for my SYW project. 78 figures left to do and 329 for the year. Crusader Miniatures and 85% Speedpaint.
12 Prussian Cuirassiers for the Prinz von Preußen regiment. After this, just two units to do for my SYW project! Might finish today.
