had a super fun time working on an entry for the Minecraft Movie Build Competition last week! working with the limited, per-biome palettes made it really interesting and I learned a lot!! #MinecraftMovieContest

minecraft build based on the badlands/mesa biome. it features 3 structures stacked on top of each other and overlapping, all supported by beams and the terrain.

I cannot believe I got to witness this today! My tiny little domino cactus has been growing this flower for over a month, and last night it finally bloomed and it is just SO beautiful. These blooms only last <24 hours and this one is already closed up. What a special thing to be able to cultivate!!

I did a fair amount of research and landed on cedar for my own bed! It has held up great since building it ~2 yrs ago, and I got to grow tomatoes in it this year! I lined the inside with weed cloth and I coated the outside with a minimal UV-resistant treatment (controversial!!! but works for me!)
