Former big leaguer Greg Garcia drew the winner yesterday, and it turns out that the woman who won has deep ties to Padres baseball going back to her grandparents at Lane Field. ⚾️😊

Look at that grip! Maybelle Blair, age 99 (she “came out” at 95), threw out the first pitch for LA’s Pride Night yesterday. She’s also good friends with Justine Siegal who’s heading up the new women’s baseball league debuting in August.
The Blue Jays admin is responding to homophobic replies, sticking up for gay fans. That’s how you do this. You don’t hide from haters by not posting about Pride - you stand strong against them. Take note, atPadres.
