I have this problem where I see characters with superficial traits I like and even if they're a pixelated mess, my brain goes, "I'm fucking it." Case in point, Matoya from FF1. My brain saw pink eyeshadow and interpreted this sprite as, "thick as fuck older woman with hug titties."
