Air Quality Warning upgraded to Orange this morning. Environment Canada recommends avoiding outdoor activities if possible and maintaining closed doors and windows.

Low and slow pass-over by a C-17 Globemaster in the west end a few minutes ago, and now enroute to Trenton:
City of Kingston: “The Canada Day celebrations are continuing – for now! Soul Sublime will take the Main Stage in Springer Market Square shortly, sponsored by WFCU. Fireworks will be at 10 p.m. in Confederation Park. We'll continue to monitor the weather and reassess over the evening.”
City of Kingston: “Due to thunderstorms in the weather forecast, we’ve made the decision to pause the Canada Day programming so that we can celebrate with you – safely! We’re assessing the situation and hope to resume once things clear.”

🚧 No injuries, thankfully, after this tree fell on the roof of a townhouse in the 1100 block of Montreal St.
