I was honored to join the Korean War Veterans Association in Sunnyside today to remember those who served in the war 76 years ago. My uncle served in Korea and was wounded in action.

I'm proud to be named a 2026 Gun Sense Candidate by @momsdemandaction.org. As a police officer, I led initiatives to reduce gun violence citywide and enforced lockdown drills as a special education teacher. Enough is enough —  we need real action. Our Congress has failed to act on gun violence.
