I’ve gone positively feral over all this gorgeous Pen fan art. I’m so happy.

My dad came by to visit today and gave me two giant cabbages from his garden. I’m going to be eating cabbage for awhile. Now I know how Duvosians feel.

One of my favorite books that instantly got me out of a bad mood is ‘Hyperbole and a Half’ by Allie Brosh. Not only did it make me laugh, it helped me learn how to navigate my mental health better. I felt alone despite being in a room full of people but this book made me feel seen.

I’m happy Mii Pen gets to be a dad.

Mii Burgess tried to relate to Mii Pen by pretending he was a pro at sports, not knowing Pen was THE sports champion of the island. Burgess just wanted to be friends with Pen but it just didn’t work out. #MTAS #tomodachilifelivingthedream

I remember quite distinctly my first instance of seeing transgender representation. I was reading manga like crazy at one point, gobbling up story after story. I had just finished ‘The Rose of Versailles’ and wanted to check out other works by Riyoko Ikeda. I happened upon, ‘Claudine’. I cried.

I love how casual his sexuality was introduced in the film, ‘Paranorman’.

TomoDachi Life: Living the Dream is so addictive. I say to myself: One hour. Just one hour and I’ll go do my chores and tasks for the day. Nope. I want the Miis to have rooms that match their personalities and more interactive items on the island. Or I just want to watch them interact all day. ⏳

I think I’m most excited in regard to My Time at Evershine for the climbing and swimming. I really wanted to climb in My Time at Sandrock. I would jump up on the rock formations or old buildings to see how high I could go. Swimming is going to be interesting. #mtae

Anime: Witch Hunter Robin I always found her character design so unique.

My first anime ever was Medabots. I remember the dub being pretty good. I didn’t stop watching anime after that and don’t ever plan to.

I’ve been reading manga, manhwa, and manhua since the 2000s. I believe I started with old school mangafox and then crunchyroll. I also still have tons of Shojo Beat comics and a bit of Shonen Jump. Hundreds of stories I obsessed over.

My favorites.

I develop the most random crushes. I love muscular nerdy guys. This is the VHS Depot Guy from Star vs. the Forces of Evil. He’s awesome.

I learned recently I really love looking at line art, a lot of the time I prefer it over colored pieces. I’m learning how so many different things affect the line art, like wrist strokes vs. shoulder strokes. It’s so very interesting. My doodles still look like dookie though.

I don’t see how, I’m on a cup ramen and peanut butter sandwich regiment until I find a new job. Instant wheat medallions in a sodium-rich consommé, followed by a duo of creamy nut butter and aerated wheat loaf. Opulence.

I had a Pen buffet today. This is a great start to the year. 🥰 Asides from the horrific dread I feel at losing my job (0__0). But there’s beautiful Pen fan art so I’m just going to wing it until I have to go back to live w/t my parents who already have my room ready. I’m in my 30s… The horror.
