Quick Joey cocktail interlude before I start Ryuki 33 proper, this is a pretty obscure cocktail that is extremely "me." It's called The Brooks, and it was made by Theo Lieberman for Milk and Honey. It's a Last Word format (equal parts; 3/4-1oz) with Jamaican Rum, Falernum, Cynar, and Lime Juice.

My girlfriend has asked me if this was MBT at least twice.

It's actually the best comic ever.

The first issue cover is so iconic, but also the funniest thing ever when you remember that the only person who dies totally didn't need to. Hack only croaks to a random goon cuz Boomerang chose not to save her cuz she was mean to him. Totally avoidable. I love him so much, he's SUCH a dick.

Also I think it's really fun that this was the book to reveal that Oracle was Barbara Gordon. The arc with Oracle connecting with the Bell Reve staff on the computer over time before needing the Squad to help save her from the 2nd Thinker was so fun. Also this is one of the best covers ever.
