I've been slowly chipping away at FFX on trains and buses, but encountering the Far Plane has really energized me. Such an imaginative and intimate sequence!
Quick trip to Corfu over the weekend. Continuing to deepen my love of Greece.
Thanks to this remake, I can now say that Star Fox is about leadership, teamwork, and legacy. It's about trusting your instincts and forging your own path. It's about a fuzzy, feathery, slippery band of mercenaries who are up for saving the day (so long as they can make some money while they do it).

I don’t wanna jinx it, but FFX may finally be the JRPG for me. I adore its island/summer feeling. I’m way into the characters. The SCALE of things! I had no idea it was an isekai story??? AND CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE UI’S EXPLOSION OF COLOR? Currently eating this up for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Built my standard, first-night shelter into side of hill. Discovered wealthy Cyclops had hobbit hole directly under my shelter. Cyclops did not take kindly to my presence. Hobbit hole is now my basement. Thanks for the extra square footage, my guy.
I roasted an entire chicken, baked sweet potatoes, made cous cous, diced apples, threw in kale and toasted walnuts… And then I put it on top of my fridge where the cat couldn’t reach it and forgot about it for six hours. RIP, Salad. The one bowl I had of you was incredible.
The demo for Pokémon Hearth is my first RomHack and it’s such a breath of fresh air. Takes place during the Arceus time period when Pokémon were still mysterious. Incredible quality of life adds. Great art and writing. As usual I have @intothecast.bsky.social to thank for putting it on my radar.

The only thing that saved me from a party wipe with Watson’s Magneton was Shylabuff’s ability NOT to be affected by Supersonic. Nearly everyone else beat themselves to death in confusion 😭

I’m not even one hour into an Omega Ruby Nuzlocke and this level 2 Seedot killed my level 4 Poochyena in one hit. If that’s not a bad omen idk what is. RIP.
