I'm in shading/rendering Hell. Trying to figure this out. What are knees? #WIP

a WIP of my current drawing for Shinji's birthday. I'm in the middle of shading. This is a zoom in on the lower part of the picture, featuring Hollow Takara between Shinji's legs. She is a very pale woman with white hair tinted pink, wearing black and red underwear with straps. She is smirking and raising a hand up to touch his chest, which is half exposed with and open shirt. He is not wearing pants, but has on boxer-briefs. A bit of the two other Takara's are visible on either side of him.

Takara is the Queen of Overthinking. The Hollow side helped to balance it out some, but she still gets really stuck in her head and spends too much time trying to think out possibilities in advance. Head go brrrrrrrr.... A few moments of head brr-ing, art by @/kyuhu!

Top Left: Takara angrily demands the bodies of her fellow experimental subjects back from Squad Twelve. Saying "They are my family!! Give them back!!!" She is in her shihakusho, Hollow hole on display, angry with her eyes black and hold, showing her Hollowfication.

top right: Takara grips onto herself looking soft as she says "Did he call me his girlfriend?" this is after hearing Shinji arguing with Kisuke about a deal she made with him. Shinji called her his girlfriend for the first time while angrily complaining, that of course he cares what sort of stupid deals his girlfriend made. She is wearing her lieutenant badge and shihakusho.

Bottom left: Takara holds a mug of hot chocolate, looking content while wearing living world style pajamas. This is after discussing her fears and a nightmare she had with Shinji about her life before joining the Visoreds.

Bottom right: Takara sits in her shihakusho crouched over and miserable. Her hair is different, and she has green eyes still. She sadly thinks, "Just a failure. Just a monster..." After another unfortunate tea time with Aizen in which he imparted upon her more 'lessons' she reflects on her life and her lack of future.

Artists! post a piece that didn't get much attention but you still love!! I worked so hard on this pair of pictures and learned a lot while drawing them. It's a scene from one of my fav chapters I've written~

Her long red hair drapes down.

Her red hair drapes down behind her.

A few further examples of what the portrait can be. Bust up, with a simple background (can include a character detail like Soushi's Turtle or Haruto's fan) Can include hands if you have a pose in mind. I can mostly draw humanoids. For furries, I'm willing to try, but I have less experience

This Shinji stand arrived today and was waaaay bigger than I thought (Spanner for scale). He lords over all the other little Shinjis, so he’s banished to the top shelf.

Artists! Show what built your art style 🎨 (I had to think a bit here, and this is what first came to mind.)
