Today's stark, dark #deskbot is the elusive Shadowstrip - I have mentioned before that I am no fan of frame combiners, but that doesn't mean I dislike their constituent figures. Legacy's Dragstrip was one such toy I really liked, so I was on the hunt for this oddly rare G2 redeco for quite a while.
Getting Shining Version 5 in today has finally given me the itch to crack open Galaxy Version 10 and Defender Version 7! I've not decided how many of each I'll build each day, but I may indulge in both waves at the same time like the big greedy pig I am 🐖✨
I know it's naughty to get in another whole case of Blokees while I still have the cases for Galaxy Version 10 and Defender Version 7 yet to delve into, but needs must 🙂↔️
Today's #deskbot is SS85 Hound - He's not quite as substantial or cool as his prior Siege release, but he has charm
I understand what this is based on, I understand the likely difficulties of engineering this figure to transform into that, and I understand that Transformers figures have to transform into at least something... But I will forever be divided on how I feel about this silly thing
Found out that they have Sheik Mainland kits on Amazon. They're a bit pricey, but they also arrive next-day in boxes that don't look like they've been mauled by dogs. This could be dangerous for me I fear
Today's #deskbot, SS86 Kranix, is a man of opposites - On the one hand he has one of the best and most slavishly screen accurate robot modes in all of Transformers history, but on the other hand has one of the absolute worst "is that it?" alt-modes I have ever seen… And yet he's still excellent…?
Today's #deskbot is Thundercracker from Transformers One - Pretty amazing just how much a new head sculpt, pair of wings and colourscheme have elevated this otherwise pretty middling mould

Today's #deskbot is the Netflix redeco of my boy Siege Hound - I've seen that there's a pretty good OSKO of this mold and I'm honestly kinda tempted to nab one, idk
Today's #deskbot is, of course, my new green Buck from Sheik Mainland - You really have to bump up the colours on any photos you take of this guy to make the green noticeable haha
I just unboxed this guy and immediately fell in love with him - In fact, I think he'll be my #TFNation bag buddy this year

Today's #deskbot is yet another new Sheik Mainland kit straight off the assembly line and onto my desk, the Franz. I'll say more in a longer post tonight, but in short; this kit was an absolute joy to build and I am seriously considering getting at least one more
Today I am armed and dangerous with my #deskbot Shockwave, from Takara's Dramatic Capture Nemesis Bridge 3-pack that I did not buy because I only wanted Shockwave because I love him
I did also get said magazine, which isn't much use to me as I cannot read a lick of Japanese but it's still pretty fun to flick through, and the included pop-out crafts (that I shall be leaving intact) are cute
