I play a LOOOOT of video games :: She/Her :: 26yo :: Fav Game Super Metroid :: Certified Kyodai :: CBM Fan :: I MISS GRAVITY RUSH 🐈⬛ ::
31) Call of Duty: Black Ops -Surprisingly great! I thought the campaign was EXTREMELY well paced and the setpieces and variety in level design was awesome and kept me wanting to play more! The music was surprisingly awesome too some of the needledrops were cracking me up lol.
30) Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced -I LOVED the original game and this was just as good! Proved to me that they still had the sauce in terms of gameplay and parkour, which imo has been a LOT worse in the newer games. Some of the newer content wasn't as well written, but I still loved it!
29) Metroid Prime 4 Beyond -FINALLY got around to finishing hard mode! Given Prime's history w poorly implemented hard modes, I was shocked at how smooth it was. That final boss is BRUTAL tho lol. Honestly liked the game a lot more than my first run. Maybe sum time has passed and I care less lol.
28) Persona 4 Golden -Amazing! Has my fav cast of characters in maybe any game and the OST and small goen vibes is awesome! Like most Persona games, I feel like it kinda does overstay its welcome, but I still loved it! My only major gripe is some of those ending conditions are just atrocious lol.
27) Star Fox (Switch 2) -AMAZING! Even tho this was the third version of this game I played this year, this one is deffo my fav. I LOVE the cutscenes and the game is GORGEOUS and feels so smooth! I did three runs of this and just love it. REALLY hope Nintendo fucking makes a new game already!
26) Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade -Amazing! This is my third run and I feel like I enjoy it a little more every time! This is the time I played it after beating Rebirth and it still holds up! I appreciate the more linear level design and tighter focus! The Switch 2 port is also mostly great!
25) Batman: Arkham Knight -Really feel like they nailed the immersion and Batman fantasy. The world is very detailed and has so many layers to it and I LOVE the gameplay. Could obv do w less batmobile, but I didn't think it was bad at all. The story is fine lol. I want more games like this again!
24) 007 First Light -It's so peak I threw up! I LOOOOVED the story a LOT and combining Hitman-lite with Uncharted is GENIUS! I also LOVE the hand to hand combat and the shooting was fun too! Very improvisational and a TON of thinking on the fly! I need a sequel ASAP man!!!! Hope it sells well!!!
23) Batman Arkham Origins -Great! It felt like more of City which was amazing! I loved the boss fights and the story even if I was kinda disappointed at the main twist. I also found the game a LOT less polished than the other games and the open world is simply AWFUL. Still def worth a play!
22) Batman: Arkham City -Peakkk!!! They took the same level of detail Arkham Asylum had and scaled it up a ton! I really appreciate the open world isn't very large at all and the combat is even better! I also loved the story! Only thing is I didn't find the pacing as strong as Asylum. One of my favs
21) Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight -Great! The combat felt like a natural extension of prior Lego games and the story was fun! My main gripe is I wish more beyond the movies and Arkham Asylum was represented, plus maybe some more original stories. And also more batfam! No Tim or Jason! Wth!
21) Keeper -AMAZING! The game is GORGEOUS like seriously Doublefine's best looking game by far and it had immaculate pacing! There was a shocking amount of gameplay variety and never once did anything overstay its welcome! Pretty short, but awesome! The ending made me really sad :(
20) Assassin's Creed Rogue -I wasn’t expecting it to tie into AC3 and AC4 so heavily, so seeing it slot between those games was a treat. Definitely jankier with more rough edges, but I didn’t mind. I’m also a SLUT for the ship mechanics in these games lol. Loved Shay too, wish we saw him again!
19) Assassin's Creed 3 Great! I liked parts of it more than past games and parts way less lol. Loved the combat and freerunning, but spending so much time in the Frontier with barely any buildings sucked. Guards were WAY overtuned too. Connor was fantastic tho, especially after 3 games of Ezio lol.
18) Mixtape -I LOVED the presentation it felt like I was playing an interactive animated movie. I thought the music choices were AMAZING and I really enjoyed the themes around it and I LOVED the main three characters. It brought a tear to my eye and made me to reach out to some of my old friends!
17) Assassin's Creed Revelations -Great! I LOVED Constantinople, it is such a great city to run around in and it didn't feel as big as Rome. I didn't find the story as strong as the last two games, but I still thought it was good, esp the ending! This game was VERY derivative of Brotherhood tho lol.
16) Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood -Great! I LOVED exploring one map and esp loved the story around Ezio filling in his leader role. I didn't think the game was quite as good as 2, but that's fine! I didn't rlly care for the more open part of the map because horse traversal feels VERY slow lol.
15) Resident Evil Requiem -Amazing! I LOVED swapping between Grace and Leon throughout. Grace felt like an amazing take on their earlier survival horror entries and felt unique in its combat especially. I found Leon's gameplay a lill weaker than RE4R, but still REALLY cathartic and fun!
14) Ridge Racer 2 (PSP) Magical experience! Drifting feels AMAZING deffo my fav in a racing game. I LOVE that the last races are all from R4! I did just complete my max difficulty run in R4 three days ago so the tracks were maybe too fresh in my mind, but it's still sm fun!! Deffo my fav PSP racer!
I've always wanted to see Rahul Kohli in more media and I'm super happy this dude is in like a real ass video gamey ass video game like if I was an actor who wanted to be in a game w my likeness, this is the fucking one honestly.
13) Super Metroid -My yearly replay! No notes it's just the best game ever made.
12) Cyberpunk 2077 -My fifth and definitely most comprehensive playthrough! I tried a monowire netrunner build for the first time and it was EXTREMELY fun! Felt fun to actually engage w more of the game's systems for once lol. I think I got one more run in me!!
Glad I got the good ending in Star Fox 64 3D! Turns out all you need to do is keep Falco alive for the Star Wolf fight lolll
