I can’t BELIEVE I almost missed The Disordered Cosmos by Chanda Prescod-Weinstein. A book about physics written by a Black woman astrophysicist from a black feminist lens. PUT IT IN MY VEINS
Another book about the history of Black education, this time from the student perspective: School Clothes by Jarvis R. Givens. I am a sucker for first hand accounts so this was a happy find.
First off, a must-have for Black History Month, A Worthy Piece of Work by Michael Hines. A book about the fight for Black history in schools by a Black historian of education? Sign me up.
