Got the cutest doodle in a ‘furries who cant draw’ panel. Wish Id gotten a pic of my doodle i did in exchange but forgot! Super happy with the new CanFUR jersey and love the shirt this year! Lots of little goodies and tasty sauces from the dealers den. Had a fab day!
Opted for a bit of self care today. Had a gift certificate for a manicure and pedicure. It was nice to get it done. And now my nails are shiny.
Finished up the badges I was working on for CanFUR. Very much looking forward to seeing the new venue.
Been prepping to bring home a little noodle friend. Smudge is almost ready to come home. She’s such a little cutie. Ill be picking her up mid-August.
Loot haul from TFCon. I had such a good time and its hard to believe the weekend is over. It’s back to work now and back to planning for CanFURence coming up!
The last couple years I’ve slipped a silly canvas into the silent auction at Furnal Equinox. This year I’ve got two that Ill be dropping off. They are just something I do for fun, not meant to be serious. Hopefully they’ll raise a few dollars for Procyon Wildlife and bring some smiles when seen.
The garden provides many little tomatoes this year. Our big tomato plants be struggling.
Made it to the Toronto Zoo over the weekend. It was hot but a lot of the animals were surprisingly active.
Game day snack prep. Its been a while since we’ve played pathfinder in person. Guess I should get the maps and mini’s dusted off.
A well needed weekend of small adventures to clear my head. Saturday I got to go to the Nam-Me-Res Pow Wow. Today was Plant & Reptile Expo with an outing to Panda Hobby, Springer Garden, and Pacific Mall.
Another walk and I saw this lil green guy on some purple leaves just chilling. Also spotted this lego dude in the side walk. It’s a mood.
Had an awesome time at TCAF yesterday. I wish I could have picked up more, there were so many amazing things to see.
Spotted this silly $10 labubu plush at a random stand at Dufferin Mall and had to get it. Now it can hang out with Ququ and Sisi.
Day two and three went by so fast! I had a great time at the Saturday Fur Meet but I’m still going through the photos. Its back to work today for me and I guess its time to start counting down for CanFURence!
Day one of AN was busy but it always is with hotel check in and running around to connect and drop things off for contests and events like Nominoichi. The hotel was sweet and had cookies put out for us at check in time. Time to start day two!
The event at The Well was a lot of fun. It was like an artist alley. It was so nice to see some familiar faces and collect some cute shaker charms.
Still a work in progress but managed to do a bit more work on the base for Bearfry yesterday. Lots still to do but feel good. Ended last night with some luck too. Managed to snag a case of the v3 Big into Energy Labubu during the drop. Gonna share them with some friends who weren’t so lucky.
At Pacific Mall over the weekend I spotted this little capsule machine. This thing makes me laugh every time I look at it. Ive named it Trevor.
Finally got myself to Tanuki Restaurant in J-town over the weekend. Had the hojicja maple latte, omurice, and some kaarage. It was yummy and a good treat.
I love how silly starting a project looks. Just making sure Bearfrys base fits against Bearshades before I begin carving and building. Then it’s on to actually building and customizing the kit before finalizing the base. Eventually it will look like something. For now it’s a mess of green foam.
