This morning, the Park Police and ICE set up a checkpoint on the Clara Barton Parkway, pulling over work vans under a law that until this year, was rarely if ever enforced. People leapt into action to try and protect their neighbors. (photo pulled from DMV Noticias on Facebook)

Just got done doing 6+ hours of ICEWatch today. Here’s a pic from one of the neighborhoods I visited. There had been a report of a possible ICE abduction in the area. I spoke to the neighbors, who wanted to help but hadn’t seen anything suspicious.

I attended a die-in in Arlington to protest Vought’s schemes to gut federal science & health programs. Vought’s cuts have led to thousands of deaths already, to the ending of clinical trials for cancer, to the gutting of food aid overseas and here in the US. Let people die. That’s the Vought way.

More photos. I arrived ever so slightly late to the #TeslaTakedown. As I drove past on my way to find parking, the first sign I saw was the one offering free balls to members of Congress and I honked SO MUCH. So much honking. All the honking. (Sunday, May 31 - Arlington, VA)

We didn’t have as much honking on Sunday. Yet, we also had several people yell in support, which we usually don’t get. One lady shouted, “Fuck Trump! I hate that guy!” A guy yelled, “Fuck ICE!” all the way down the line. Another guy thanked us and said he loved us. (Sunday, May 31 - Arlington, VA)

Still, everywhere I went, things were torn up & covered over. I’ve done renovations at home. I know when you’re in the middle of a project, it’s going to look a mess. But Trump is funneling millions to cronies with little experience in this type of work. I don’t think it’ll look better in the end.

On Sunday, besides visiting the reflecting pool and #86theArch, I wandered around the general area of the Lincoln Memorial. What I saw was a militarized construction zone. The place was crawling with National Guard and some of their military vehicles were back as well.
