A black man lounging on a unicorn pool float in a pool with stylized waves. This painting very clearly references Hockney’s pool paintings.

There’s second female figure is sat by the pool. Adams’ paintings will often feature color blocking in a way that makes the image feel like a paper collage, and this does as well.

Omg I just found this uglydoll look-a-like I sewed for my nephew like 15 years ago 👀👀👀 I didn’t even know I had forgotten this

One side of the doll is bright yellow with stripes like corduroy. It looks like a cuddly space baby and it has an embroidered x and an o for eyes. Both eyes are set on an oval cream piece of fabric that I think I sewed on with a blanket stitch(?)

The reverse side is a dark teal and it has one big embroidered star for an eye, same oval cream-colored megapupil, and a smile with 2 little notches in it
