In June 2022, I attempted suicide. My mental health collapsed, and I desperately needed rehabilitation, but (In-person) Ripperoni became my sole caretaker.
I was a blank slate to be molded, unmoving and spiraling for most of the day.

I just realized a funny coincidence that Usahana from Sanrio, her name basically means Flower Bunny, but in the sims the Easter bunny is called the Flower Bunny AND kiiiiind of even looks like her bc the overalls lol

Sometimes you just need a Toad. Have you tried getting a toad from the shops in Old Town? Of course you have. Did you find one? Of course you didn't. That's because toads were run out of SimCity after the Mayor's wife was caught kissing an especially slimy toad. But now you can get your own toad. Just temporarily toadify whomever you want; friends, family, enemies, neighbors, all of them are just begging for Toadification, just be careful that people don't catch you casting it, as toads are still illegal in many areas of SimCity.

They didn’t reply to me directly I guess bc they got too worked up over someone quoting them sarcastically to try and highlight the reality of what they are saying, but this is the answer to my question and why I am missing is people really are that ableist and buy their own line.

Alt text is good. The way ppl police it is unlikely to convince people of that. It may generate compliance but a resentful sort.

Harshness and shame will breed that faster and further.
That and a tunnel vision makes it look like you're not serious about accessibility but are playing a game

To give a comparison. Thanking someone for holding a door open is good.
If you're at a funeral and someone forgets and you make a deal out of it they will forever think you the highest of selfish pricks.
Same if you focus on alt text unnecessarily on a serious topic like that...

By unnecessarily I mean the graphic is not crucial to understanding the conversation..
And for things like news sites, write a email instead maybe. It's more likely to be read and it won't look like you're callous to the main topic.
The only diff is the correction isn't public

A thing we all have to do more and self reflect on whether we're trying to do good or trying to be
