Air quality is poor due to the fires, I was thankful to hear a loon and robins this morning. Our hummingbirds lungs are rigid, and act as tubes to work with 9 air sacs pumping oxygen continuously through their bodies. I think about them and the effect of the smoke.🌷
I awoke at 3 a.m. to the smell of wildfire smoke here in northern Minnesota. The fires are burning in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, which is located between Minnesota and Canada. On a lighter note, we saw a moose on our way home from shopping.🙂
