Now listening to an Essex band from the 90s/early 00s. The Salty Dogs were an amazing band and should have gone on to better things! They were like The Levellers, but better!!

Following from my previous post I never got to meet Neil Innes but my ex went with her Mum to a David Essex concert and he was there with his wife! I got her to get him to sign something! Unfolded it's a David Essex poster but on the back it has a lovely wee message!
Listening to this classic! I love the music of The Rutles unironically as ACTUAL music in its own right! Neil Innes did a great job of making the songs sound Beatles parodies but also great songs in their own right!
