An Old Fashioned cocktail in a somewhat fancy-looking glass, on the railing of a deck, with trees behind. The railing was referred to by the Trex pros that installed it as a "cocktail rail" since there's a flat piece of the deck material affixed to the top, and it's plenty wide enough to set beverages on it.

Done! No more rotting wood steps that were a slipping hazard for delivery folks & kids on Halloween. Decided to skip having railing on the top two steps. Already prefer that. Having a thought or two about the gap behind the tree. Maybe level the ground better & drop an outdoor storage box there.
