Fire started about 5 pm, by 9 pm it was raging. Go now evacuations of Cold Springs Nevada (just outside Reno) almost immediately issued. Luckily going away from my location. Will have to see how far it has spread this morning. #fire #Nevada #reno

My beautiful Tovak passed away this week. He went to sleep and was gone. Was a rescue and lived a good life for 21 years.

I am 21. Up until about 6 months ago I had beautiful floof. Now not so much. But my hormones knows to be careful when scissors come out.

I had a bumper crop of crab apples. This is the last one standing after the ground squirrels ate all the rest.

Chewbaca slipped on the hardwood floor and tore his ACL. Surgery on Tuesday. Luckily, I have enough money to cover this unexpected expense, but wow, over $2000. #dogs #Surgery #petsareexpensive

I can relate, but my sweetie likes to sit close to my face. I have pillow ready. Generally 4am is his time to demand attention

Snarf at 2 and Tovak at 7. Snarf is now 15 and Tovak is 20. I have no baby pics because they were both rescues.

Yeah, it is Caturday. But ugh, I missed some of my beauty sleep because of daylight saving time.

Nevada is the driest state in US plus I get intense sun. I planted this area with just seeds which did well. Unfortunately vegetables are harder to grow. I do have water but soil dries out quick. Looking for suggestions.
