We had 6 inches of snow yesterday, and our maple in front took a hit. The birds were very concerned as I was cleaning up. Here's a pic of what I had to clear out. 70 degrees for today.

I had a pair like that. Unrelated boys, but a definite mini-me situation.

Normally, we get a nice St. Patrick's blizzard of 3 feet or so. It usually melts right away. This is the weather forecast for this week. I have NEVER seen temperatures like this for the Spring equinox. Our state is in big trouble.

Good morning (or afternoon), Jean! Lovely sunrise today. I got my tree done yesterday. My kitty, Kalamazoo, hasn't decided what he thinks yet.

Reminds me of one I saw this week.

A caption at the top reads "I miss the days when we didn't know how much our baseball cards were worth!" Below it is a baseball card. It is Mickey Mantle's rookie card. The photo on the card has been defaced with black and blue ballpoint pens. The embellishments include drawn in sideburns, beard and mustache, and round eyeglasses, all in black. There is a tobacco pipe in his mouth, with spirals of smoke coming out of the bowl, drawn in blue. The card has been folded and bent, and there is major foxing of the edges. The icing on the cake is that next to the legend at the bottom of the card, which reads Mickey Mantle, is a red circle with yellow letters reading 1st BASE YANKEES. Mantle played in the outfield for almost all of his career, which means this is from very early in his career, and is worth a lot of money...In original condition.

My MAGAt coworker hung this flag because he was so proud to be an American again. I was beyond pissed. It is emblematic of his disrespect for our flag and our country.

The American flag, red and white stripes with a field of blue populated by 50 white stars. It hangs with disgusting stains on it. Are they blood from the January 6 insurrection? Are they coffee? Are the mud? What they are is proof of how little the person who hung it cares for our flag, and our country.

I am basing my opinion on what I see, which is this:

Six grocery shelves are pictured. The 2nd through 4th from the top are mostly empty except for some Kunets beans on the left side. The fifth shelf down has Kuners beans and 6 cans of Kroger chili beans. The top shelf holds cans of Kroger pinto beans.
