Hey! So that you know, "In Transit" has a playlist. I listened to a bunch of different songs while putting this collection together. These are the most played. youtube.com/playlist?lis...

My mother's ashes have been buried between her mother and father, and her stone has been set out at the little country cemetery in Albert/Oney, Oklahoma. My brother Brian Myers handled this part. He did a great job. Also, the vase with her flower glows in the dark. Just perfect for spooky season.
Working and monitoring seven different screens at once. Like you do.
Fergus update. Incredibly brave and curious. He is interested in Maddie, and she is about him, but anytime Maddie gets too close, Fergus gives a tiny hiss and Maddie backs off. He managed to topple my acoustic/electric bass last night. Playful, snuggly. Currently resting under the couch.
Get somebody who looks at you the way Maddie looks at me when she wants to go on a walk.
Nebula nominations are open, and I have this novella eligible this year.
I'll be at the Nicollet Island Winter Market at the Nicollet Island Pavilion on Sunday, 12/15, from 10 to 4PM, selling books with @qospress.bsky.social ! Say hi and check out local vendors, food, music, and more!
Personal Assistant is laser focused on helping me with art career stuff.
Llyr Merriam 2014-2024 He came from a dumpster. He was panicky about food. He was partially blind. He was not the brightest. He had a big purr. His health problems finally got him too young. We had an in-home euthanasia, trying to give him a bit of dignity and love at the end. Goodbye, dumpster cat.
Award nominating season is upon us. My weird west novella Terror at Tierra de Cobre is eligible for the Hugo Award, the Locus Award, the Nebula Award, the Silver Spur, the Stoker, and the World Fantasy Award. You can get a copy here: queenofswordspress.com/product/terr...
