This is so disingenuous from the Republic. The socialist elected (actually, just nominated right now) is seeking a seat in the AZ Leg. Yet they use a picture of Gov. Hobbs and her running mate (who very recently left the Republican Party). I’d say the paper can do better, but I’m not sure it can.
He seems to have very much misread this particular post and we’re all here waiting for that to dawn on him (spoiler: it won’t)
That’s been the law since 2004. The forms of ID are explained here in ARS § 16-579(A).
The 2020 election wasn’t stolen. Are all your thoughts as good as this 👇? Perhaps you’re angling for a job at OLC.
I became fast friends with five women I met on the first day of law school. We wore a decent amount of black and were good students. The popular kids (my law school was very much like high school) started calling us the Coven. 25 years later, we still call ourselves that.
This is cornhole. Popular in bars and at back yard barbecues. Do not ask me how it got its name.
Now? They have proposed it every session for many years. Here’s some of the Dem caucus on the day they introduced it in 2021.
Of course, I didn’t even need to do that because the livestream cameras are on.
Not spending time on the bird site anymore, I missed this news about Rachel. This won’t help if she ever tries to get her law license back.
Hey, Arizona, remember when we thought it was a massive conflict of interest when Anthony Kern was handling ballots on which his name appeared (as a presidential elector)?during the Cyber Ninjas debacle?
Both? Every court is different, but here are the requirements for Arizona appellate courts where I practice frequently.
Happy Repeal Day! As is my tradition, I will be raising a glass tonight to celebrate the fact that the U.S. Constitution allows us to fix things when we make stupid mistakes.
In fact, it looks like each of OR’s 6 CDs contains multiple counties.
And even the “no actually, the 14th Amendment doesn’t mean birthright citizenship” guy thinks this sucks. That’s how bad Loomer is.
I’m pretty sure that flaming chicken belonged to the city before its namesake crappy online university even existed. But honestly, the school’s logo is marginally better.
I know that our country is an absolute dumpster fire, but this might be the most disturbing thing I’ve read in a long time.
Heather Honey is in charge of election integrity at DHS now. You can’t make this shit up.
This is not quite right. AZ has required documentary proof of lawful presence since July 1996. In 2000, MVD started denominating licenses issued to non-citizens as F-type. But Prop 200 says an AZDL no. issued after 10/1/96 is satisfactory evidence of citizenship. From a 2005 AZ AG Opinion:
The former Maricopa County Assessor (and Senate President Warren Petersen’s cousin).
The drama within the AZ Democratic Party continues according to my morning email from @axios.com. The party chair complaining that his censure was “politically motivated” is rich. Sir, you are the chair of a state political party, things being politically motivated is kind of the whole point.
