And here we see the difference between twenty minutes work versus a few hours over a weekend. Small details that the player will blitz past, but I really enjoyed working on these and making them look somewhat official.
Imagine waking up in your sleepy fjord town one morning and there's a seventeen storey hotel now...
I've posted a new article over on ModDB about The Core and the small details we've included, as well as a brief explanation of the optimisation work that has been done in response to tester feedback. Check it out here: www.moddb.com/mods/the-cor...
Today on "Tim Sweeney Doesn't Get It" ALL of THIS nonsense. Sure, the only reason I never tried Marathon was because I wasn't peer pressured into dropping £40 on it by my friends over in-game VC. We're all on Discord actually, and this STILL never happened because they're not fucking assholes.
I love when context clues can tell you so much more than the actual article. I've not read either of these posts... but I can tell you what happened.
Me: "I'll leave the 3D camera here. That'll be funny tomorrow." Also me, months later: "Right, let's ge- AAAAAAAARGH"
Sorry, random ARC Raiders player. Did I swoop in and steal your points? I did, didn't I... Am I still going to show this to everyone because I'm ridiculously proud of that shot? Also yes.
OK... sooo listen. I'm looking through the new content added to #TheFinals for season 10 and uhm... I'm fine. Everything is fine... Man... Baldur's Gate 3 definitely stirred up something inside me.
"Quite miffed," will never not be funny to me when its concerning moments of considerable rage or anguish. Alongside, "Got a bit of a nark on," when carrying out acts of extreme destructive violence.
In Fallout: The Post Apocalyptic RPG, the dog was named "Dogmeat" as a reference to the 1975 movie: A Boy and His Dog. In Fallout 3, Fallout 4 AND the Fallout Prime series, the dog was named "Dogmeat" as a reference to... Fallout. Bethesda Game Studios really ought to have hired some writers...
Not going to lie... That's a pretty funny important notice.
Teaching the ARC that it's rude to stare through people's windows.
I've made contact with a sentient office chair... Apparently it's feeling fine. I shall continue to probe for information throughout the day. I hope it likes farts.
I can't quite believe that TWHL Tower 2 will have been out for FIVE YEARS next week! From the humble beginnings of the first TWHL Tower, the submissions for this sequel were just ridiculously well made. Now is a fine time to check it out... or revisit it? twhl.info/vault/view/6...
Fantastic time in Belfast. What a delightful city.
I had to read this ever so punchy headline FIVE TIMES to fully process what was being said...
When you're right, you're right. Archie has given all his whiteboard textures for The Core a makeover, using new Photoshop tools and a tablet. The mod is full of Easter eggs, references and other things on the whiteboards and I think redoing them by hand really helps to humanise them a little more.
