Mine finally came! Kiba's not so impressed but he remembered he can't read.

Last camellia of the season from my garden.

Afternoon snack! Custard crepe with strawberries, drizzle of honey & powered sugar. So damn good. Wish I wasn't allergic to banana, it would have made it perfect.

Golden crepe, folded into three, on a pale teal plate. Crepe is filled with custard from the Amish market, topped with cut strawberries, honey and powered sugar and it was delicious.

I got myself a new udon bowl and omg, it's slay. #ゴジラ #Gojira #Godzilla

Japanese bowl, approximately six inches diameter. The outside is painted with pink and, purple and lavender sakura (cherry blossom). There is a purple mountain in the background and a traditional pagoda. A silhouette of Godzilla (gojira!) is in the foreground. Brown chopsticks lay across the bowl mouth in a dimple. The bowl sits on my very well used bamboo cutting board.

The bill ensures that nearly 90% of Social Security beneficiaries will no longer pay federal income tazes on their benefits, providing meaningful and immediate relief to seniors who have spent a lifetime contributing to our nation’s economy.

“This is a historic step forward for America’s seniors,” said Social Security Commissioner Frank Bisignano. “For nearly 90 years, Social Security has been a cornerstone of economic security for older Americans. By significantly reducing the tax burden on beneficiaries, this legislation reaffirms President Trump’s promise to protect Social Security and helps ensure that seniors can better enjoy the retirement they’ve earned.”

The new law includes a provision that eliminates federal income taxes on Social Security benefits for most beneficiaries, providing relief to individuals and couples. Additionally, it provides an enhanced deduction for taxpayers aged 65, and older, ensuring that retirees can keep more of what they have earned.

Social Security remains committed to providing timely, accurate information to the public and will continue working closely with federal partners to ensure beneficiaries understand how this legislation may affect them. "

Finally got around to installing my cane hangers in the foyer. (Because using a tape measure & level to stick a few hooks too the wall is exhausting with PEM, yes.) My second favorite cane has a warning charm, for those in the know... #disabilityaid #disability

Look how pretty my hydrangea are this year! The last few days of rain beat them up a tad, but they still look great.

Ours peonies were looking so good this year... until we had a nasty storm that decimated them. But look how pretty!

This is the one I currently use & love: www.amazon.com/Able-Life-Ro... I bought purse hangers & use them on the rear headrests to hang the rollater from so that it doesn't clunk around in the trunk (I'm a spirited driver.) It's a bit awkward sometimes hanging and removing, but works well overall.

Trunk of VW Tiguan. A blue folding rollator is hanging off the back of the rear seats with a duffle bag of emergency medical supplies and "car pillow" underneath.

My kid and I were wearing our usual N95 masks when we sat in the orthodontist waiting room. Thankfully, it was mostly empty but this creep kept staring at us.
