Valentino and Velvette stand together, Val in front of her as if to protect her, his body half blown up and gravely injured. Velvette looks worried despite Valentino's reassurances that everything will be okay. Val gets even more hurt, just as Velvette calls out to Vox.

Valentino laughs, remarking on how he was right in telling Velvette that Vox would come to help her, while the lights are fading and he resigns to die. A prince will always go for the princess.

Vox angrily yells at Valentino not to give up, while Velvette reproaches him for calling her a bitch. Val laughs both hysterically and in elation, happy not to have been left behind.

Vox and Velvette both carry away to safety an extremely injured Valentino. In his head, Valentino resigns to actually being the princess for the day.
