For all of its decolonial gesturing, it treated stolen artefacts as art & omitted important info - like where this photo’s from

Just finished Leonora Carrington’s novella, The Stone Door. Uufff talk about surrealist imagery! I loved the visual imagination of this & how she wove together disparate narrative threads through the prism of alchemy & occult knowledge. It’s odd, & I’m unsatisfied by its ending, but still recommend!
