Dtimi originally began as one of several designs based on the concept of "what if there was a version of me for each of the stages of grief?" ... which ITSELF was inspired by the homunculi from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. here's some 2016 Patty Art (i never settled on a look for Bargaining)

Four distinct Patties in a row:
1. Denial, a cyclops with a cross-shaped pupil, an anarchy symbol on her skirt and spiky hair that is split between black and white down the middle.
2. Depression, the perfect picture of a hot-topic-reject emo-slash-goth girl -- the Dtimi we all know and lust for.
3. Anger, a four-armed intense-looking freak in a pair of shorts (that my dad gladly used to make fun of how ugly my legs looked). Her legs end in hooves and her top left arm is bright red (based on the fact that my left arm has always been stronger than my right), veins of similar coloration going all the way up to her face and left eye (based on a twitch I used to have while living with my parents).
4. Acceptance, an angel with a very "sure! why not!" attitude about literally everything. The halo over her head is notably attached by a little wire.

every passing birthday i think about the gift i made myself back in 2019. like there's just really no fuckin topping this wild to think i made it before everyone started drawing portal facemask shit... i was ahead of my time. im just like da vinci if you think about it.
