I tried the new demo for "Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream". I am very happy to report that this game is gonna be unhinged. Also the voice synthesizer can be even crazier than before, what even is the tone of voice I made for that other guy??!?!?!?

Back on Tuesday, @cariboops.bsky.social did some cake-themed art giveaways during his birthday and I was lucky enough to get one! Had to make the cake I had be Kvæfjord cake, because it's very yummy! Thank you so much for this, Cari! Hope your birthday was great ❤️

What said person was referring to (and what's happening with SMB's SFX) was the letter-less 2A03 running the lowest noise frequency at a different rate, an entirely different issue from the lack of 93-bit noise. This had not been documented before, and was only recently added to the NESDev article.

Unless I'm mistakenly hearing things, those N163 drums are instantly recognisable to me. Why? Because I made those drums over a decade ago and I am still puzzled at how they're still circulating around...
