Happy Birthday! 168 years ago, #MaxPlanck was born. He is the namesake of the maxplanck.de, to which our MPL and MPZPM belong. Awarded the Nobel Prize in #Physics in 1918 for his discovery of energy quanta, he changed how we understand the nature of light and matter. #Research #QuantumScience
