Today I cooked up two generations of golden beets, and one lone sugar beet, all from my garden. My friends and I ate both the roots & the greens. The older generation of golden beets were a bit more tough, not as sweet. The sugar beet was delicious! Time to go plant more! #gardening #beachlife

Today I experienced someone yelling anti-American sentiment at me in public. The thing is, I’ve lived in Mexico for 10 years, and I consider it my home. My newest ambition is learning how to down-regulate my nervous system. The world is stressful right now, it’s really taking a hit. Sunsets help.
This is Big Rosey, my neighbor’s Rotty. We walk our dogs in the beach campground, where people sometimes leave food... Rosey just had to have it. whatever “it” was. But as old and as fat as she is, I give her credit. She actually got it. 😂

The people camping are starting to roll in for the weekend. I like that smell of burning wood in the air, mixed with the salty ocean smell.
