Beautiful day yesterday, caught the sun walking the forest, sand dunes & beach at Formby NT. Today, absolutely grim up north. Grey skies & rain!
Spent a fortune on beds for Luca but any empty box or a carrier bag on the floor was always preferable. Forgot the laundry basket. I do miss him! 🙁
Hike went well, no fatalities! 6.5 miles and a plethora of wildlife. Herons, Egrets, Lapwings, Oyster Catcher, Sand Martins and others. Butternut squash curry at the pub and now into relaxation mode!
My goodness, I took quite a few pictures but there were far fewer people on the streets Monday & Tuesday.

Heads up for those going to the football tonight, despite cancellation of the strike there are still severe delays on the D&C line. And the streets of Chelsea are heaving with plants lovers. Allow plenty of time.

Disastrous day pre travel South. Stupidly tried to catch one of my walkers who slipped when climbing a stone stile. Ended up knocked onto my back in a bed of nettles, & hit my coccyx on a stone! 🤬
