beauty, friendship, novels, kitchen and garden. A no-politics zone. We're blue dots.🕊️✌️☮️🎶
We had lunch in a converted train car recently. 🚂 We were early but by the time we left, it was buzzing with diners. The signs are original to the train terminal. 🚃
The Sunflowers are so cheerful in the veg/herb bed. They help bring bees to the vegetable flowers. 🐝💚🩷🧑🌾
Happy #BlueSkyMonday, Susan and #CoffeeHouse Friends. ☕ I predict a good day ahead with plenty of reasons to smile ... Watch for them! 💨🌞😍 The sky here in a photo
Pepper Jelly made from our peppers.🫑♥️ Today's reason to be tired and satisfied with the day.
Happy Day! Black Swallowtail Butterfly in the front garden Lantana shrubs. Can you see their caterpillars on our Dill plants? Full circle cycle. 💞
A feast of Lebanese lunch today. How do they make simple foods so delicious?
Crocosmia bulbs spread like crazy and only bloom when they're in the mood. This year they were in the mood 💚🧡 to make me happy (and to prevent their removal). Can plants read our thoughts?
It was a pretty good day here. Two hours of exercise, aka yardwork woke things up starting at 7.🔆🌻 Tree guy came and started cleaning out the woods behind our house. The Lilies continue to bloom their little heads off.
We planted the Natchez White Crepemyrtles 20 years ago when we saw their beautiful bark at the Philbrook Museum in Tulsa. When I walked under them this morning the bees were singing a grateful song. 🐝🐝🐝🐝
Good Thursday, Susan and #Coffeehouse friends. Sending each and all good wishes for a peaceful and joyful day. 💞✨🦋 No palaces here but maybe a Loco Weed flower will qualify for your #PalacesAndGardens today.
Black Beauty Lilies have a heavenly scent so bees and butterflies can't resist visiting. 🐝🦋 They are leaning toward the sun as the tree they're under has grown a lot since planting. 🌳
Our Natchez White Crepe myrtle is bursting with flowers and pollinators after all the ☔⚡🌧️ storms.
We were on vaca for a week and it rained, so this morning I'm mowing native grasses a foot tall (riding mower). Robins and mockingbirds follow me to sweep up the insects. 🐦🥰
I'm glad you're doing well, Susan.🩷💚 We took a trolley tour of Dodge City KS, and this dude was our guide to all things Doc Holiday, Bat Masterson, Boot Hill and the wild west.🤠
Keystone Lake as viewed from the car. The end of a great week-long road trip.
Happy #WeekAForAbandoned to all who celebrate. Hotel Iven in Colorado long abandoned. There's a door to nowhere on the 2nd floor. 🧡🌟
