Google doesn't care that Search no longer works. They'll spend billions retraining models, developing harnesses, and optimizing system prompts playing whack-a-mole instead of admitting they broke their product. The chatbot version is way more profitable BECAUSE it broke Search.

Excited to dig into the #reconstructionpapers. @liberalcurrents.com @adamgurri.liberalcurrents.com
I played piano tonight at #thefalloutshelter and had a great time. Nerves were getting to me so I just started talking. I got a lot of laughs and loosened up immensely. #thismustbetheplace #murphy'slawschool
#subsidiarity Human lives are governed by concentric sets of authority. To cultivate personal thriving prerequisite for societal amelioration, those in "higher-level authorities" need to practice subsidiarity. The encyclical is worth reading. Source: Me, an atheist, data science MS, philosophy BA
19 hours ago I had a craving. Autolyse: 1kg of mixed flours and water at 93 F⁰ (34 C⁰). Mix: 20g salt and 1/8 tsp active dry yeast. Fold: 3x. Wait. Sleep. Coffee. More waiting. Finally: Divide. proof. preheat. bake. Let it set. More waiting. Gone. Fresh bread is the best.

I went to #thefalloutshelter yesterday and got to see 'Alexa'. She has a spectacular voice (sorry the video is so short!) #openmic
Today, Google told me about glergues... Vanilla Google search has AI, that could go wrong
No favorite dinosaurs. The paleontologist from PBS's Dinosaur Train taught me (my kids, I guess) more about dinosaurs than we learned growing up. Troodons are thought to be the smartest dinosaurs. Parasaurolophus is fun to say. Try it Pachycephalosaurus translates roughly to thick-headed lizard
'Influencing quality career-connected learning at scale to strengthen your talent pipeline' Learning at scale, leveraged for personal gain, all for a reasonable cost! ... Poor kids
Prefacing this by acknowledging the original source intended this as directed propaganda... Here's a screenshot of the big-board at Lego Intel HQ
I highly recommend "Surveillance Capitalism", by Zuboff. The infrastructure in place is terrifying.
I'll get some pictures of possible! This one is from Norwood, November 11. Visible looking north towards light pollution of airport/city
I met this photogenic river this weekend after tubing in the snow with my kids.
