Tooting
As of this minute, three quarters of UK energy is being generated by wind and solar, and *checks notes* my washing machine is still going around…
My favourite thing at the moment is reading Irish news sites that think 15c overnight is hot…
Seems like the right evening to be listening to some Spanish guitar… A reward for the northern line trip 🥵
I have never felt so old watching Addison Rae at Primavera. I want to put my headphones on….
Honestly, this Primavera is cursed! They just lost all sound from New Dad for 5mins!
Tooting, please Will. Mayor’s own patch - CS7 is falling apart (dilapidated pant, surface and polls) and blocked by cars (completely unpoliced)!
But you didn’t predict Celeb Traitors Stephen! The next GE should just be the OOH election. Buy up all the poster sites now and stick this up. Job done.
Forgot this one! Fourteen centuries between them - the Charterhouse, founded on a medieval plague pit in 1348, with the post‑war brutalism of the Barbican towers peaking out behind. Old London, new-ish London… almost touching
The beauty of London is that you’ve never seen it all. A great candlelit guided tour of The Charterhouse tonight - fascinating history under dramatic skies…
Man and Boy at the NT @nationaltheatre.org.uk tonight. Old Terence Rattigan play revived but felt strangely current. Couple more weeks left - highly recommended!
Not sure TFL are quite on top of the Bakerloo graffiti issues yet 🙃 That said, this old skool stuff is much better than the shitty market pen tagging…
Dull transport post. The Stadler GA trains (745/755) are the best in the UK and we should just buy a big job lot (econ of scale) rather than the nonsense of lots of different trains. Brucey bonus is that the local trains are just as well spec’d as the mainline.
