An extremely short (1/4th of an inch tall) parrot mushroom grows out of a mixture of orange and brown fir and cedar duff. Its stipe is smooth, shiny, and yellow. Its cap, which is covered in streaks of light from reflections of the sky between the trees above, is a beautiful mixture of light and emerald green.

Out-of-focus moss, leaves, fir needles, and cedar duff surround a very tiny (roughly 1/4" tall) parrot mushroom, which is centered at the bottom of the frame in this photo. It has a short and curved yellow stipe. The tiny cap is conical in shape but has a smooth, round top. The cap is green, lighter around the edges and darker at the top, is shiny, and reflects the sky and outlines of the trees above it.

An entirely tan-colored mushroom grows at a unique angle out of the soil and is surrounded by leafy green moss. This mushroom grows slightly to the left from its base, but then the cap bends in the opposite direction to the right. This mushroom has a white, skirt-like ring just under the cap where the mushroom bends back to the right. Its cap is round and dome-like.

The cap, which is extremely shiny, making it appear like glass, is a gorgeous blue-green color, like turquoise and teal. Tiny springtails climb up the stipe. This mushroom stands about one inch tall.

Winding out of bright green and mostly out-of-focus moss, a yellow-stiped and yellow-capped parrot mushroom shows off its shiny nature. The stipe is smooth and dark yellow. The cap is lighter yellow, though the yellow fades to olive green at the very top. An overcast sky is reflected in the center of the cap due to it being very wet and slimy.

Growing out of slightly sloped soil, a short but stout mushroom takes in bright light from a thinly overcast sky. Its stipe is white, fibrous, and marked by occasional spots of orange. The cap, which still sits connected to the stipe by thin, hair-like fibers, is purple, wet, and shiny, reflecting the light and forest canopy above it.

Its smooth yellow stipe is slightly transparent, revealing a strange patter of darker and lighter yellow throughout. The cap is slightly conical in shape, the left side being a bit flared up and out. The cap is light green around the edges and fades to dark green at the top.

The shiny and smooth yellow stipe comes up from the bottom of the frame and disappears under the high edge of the cap. The top of the stipe is lined with the reflection of the gills surrounding it. The gills of the cap are soft yellow and between them is the glowing blue-green cap as light filters through it. The cap appears shiny and wet.

While young in its life, its rough white stipe already stands about three inches tall and is a little over an inch thick near the base, which tapers a bit as it reaches the cap. The bright red cap is spherical since it hasn't matured and unfurled yet. The cap is covered in spiky white bumps. A single thick drop of water rests just beneath the cap on the stipe.

Growing side-by-side, two five inch tall mushrooms bask in soft, forest-canopy-diffused sunlight. Their stipes are fibrous and rough-looking and are a blend of white and purple. Webby material stretches from the top of the stipe to the edge of the caps. The mostly white but somewhat purple caps are dome shaped and are only an inch tall and wide.

A young Amanita muscaria grows out of wet fir-needle-covered ground and right up against a wall of green moss, which stands on its left. This mushroom has a thick white stipe and a large red cap that's covered in spiky white bumps.

A tiny parrot mushroom, just a bit over one inch in length, grows out to the left and up from underneath the edge of a decaying moss-covered log. It has a smooth yellow stipe and a shiny green cap. Light striations are visible on the edges of the cap where the green is a bight lighter in color.

A shiny, slimy, bright yellow mushroom grows out of dark brown and orange wet cedar duff. It has a smooth, straight, light neon yellow stipe which stands between one and two inches tall. A thin, light, webby-looking pattern of black is visible on the left side of the stipe. The wet, reflective, narrow, cone-shaped cap is a deeper yellow, a bit orange in some spots, with a few spots of dark (almost black) color showing up as the mushroom ages.
