In for some care and attention is this Kinetic T-45 Goshawk. The kit is not difficult you don't need aftermarket so why is it painted grey? In the autumn of 2024 several at NAS Meridian were repainted. Matching the Grey was a bitch but I think I've nailed it.

Further update on the merlin engined Westland Whirlwind. The second coat of green paint is on and the model will be given several days for the paint to harden throughout.
Update on the merlin engined Westland Whirlwind. After the painting disaster the port wing top was stripped and the brown undercoat replaced. This brown has worked out well enough so it's on to the green next. The underside is black and white.

Hello there. I manages to disappear for a couple of hours and am now fully napped for at least half an hour. Hooman has looked at his watch and sees it's my supper time. Then it's back to napping. Lubs George.
This was meant to be the big reveal but unless you are at the model show you won't see it. There are several parts to the canopy and of these two were broken. It's taken a long time to get this far but I am very proud of it.
