We saw tons of huge ravens, wild horses and families of elk wandering through town, wild turkeys, deer, heard the elk bugling in the morning, it was so cool. Now is just a matter of saving up to move so I can accept the job offer!! 👀 (Bonus: Blockbuster mentioned!! and this handmade plate I nabbed)
We also stopped into a few of the locally-owned businesses and picked up some saltwater taffy, homemade soaps and bath salts, and a cute little wooden bear (a bear ripped open the campsite’s bear-proof dumpsters overnight). There was art everywhere in town, it reminded me a lot of my old homes!

A ceramics painting spot opened up in town and I got my first piece back!! Plus the two I did today (o:€ Bonus points if you can guess the next tarantula I did (easy mode tbh)!
Sorry I never draw any more, I’m rapidly entering my grandmother phase where I just sit around and do crafts when I’m not at work haha. Book haul and treats from this weekend!
Update: finished sorting one bag! Three more to go…… I need more tiny containers and I bought everything they had at our dollar store lol
Another incredibly satisfying aspect of this project to me is that I get to pick tiny seed beads out of 4 huge bags of mixed beads. This is a genuinely enjoyable use of time for me, I do enough thinking at work
