You were wise and loving in this decision. Not all animals are so lucky. I found this dog in trash two years ago. Loaded him up and got him to no kill shelter. He now has loving home.

Remember that you loved and cared for her and she loved you back. My rescued girl died three years ago and I have those wonderful memories of our time together. Fellow cat people understand you. 🥹
