People making things up to preserve a belief is impossible versus the fact people do that all the time.
The gospels were written many decades after the events they refer to and were attributed to the apostles but had unknown authors. The Holy Spirit is indiscernible from one’s own confirmation bias affecting their conscious mind.
Eyewitness testimony isn’t evidence that’s Appeal to Anecdote. The assumption that God exists isn’t evidence for miracles that’s Circular Reasoning.
Personal anecdotes cannot be verified or falsified therefore Hitchens Razor applies. That which can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.
Right wingers are going to intentionally ignore this one.
