I started this one in late 2023. I thought it was done in January of ’24, but it never sat right with me. I’d done the rocks in the landscape in true-to-life colors that just didn’t excite me. I went back into it in June with something more saturated, and I think it’s now a much better piece. I hope you dig it, too

I really wish there was an on demand option for t-shirt printing that didn't mangle my images. The color sucks, but also Threadless clearly doesn't clean or calibrate their (almost certainly expensive) printers (which can shorten their lifespan). Why does every single thing have to be garbage?

Fancily framed oil painting I made of our dear departed pup, Winston, standing on a pile of large rocks in front of mountains, under an intensely saturated sunset sky.

We got to share 14 and a half awesome years with Winston, that most exceptional of beasts. We lost him to cancer in the summer of ’24. I started this painting not long after. I think the loss was too fresh for me to really pull it off. I decided it needed some more work so I did it. His monument needed to reflect his awesomeness. I think it’s closer, now.
