I’ve changed my name: Natalie Gray. (She/her) For me, this change is more administrative than anything else, and I feel exactly the same internally as I did yesterday. This is a bigger change for you than it is for me, so please don't treat it as something requiring congratulation.
Bluesky: the only platform that notifies me every time someone enjoys someone else’s joke.
There’s only so much you can do to check yourself. I can hear 30-14.9k Hz from a tone generator via my phone speaker. But I’d expect the speaker’s range to sharply drop off somewhere around 14.5kHz, making anything above that much quieter, a harmonic, or silent. www.szynalski.com/tone-generat...
I'm a simple being: I see a Powerpuff Girls product, I click it. SEVENTY POUNDS+ for a phone case‽ That I did not expect!
And this is why Reform UK should never be let anywhere near the space program:
A report from the under sea medical officer who is inside the capsule with the crew
Absolutely no shade, live broadcast is hard at the best of times. But is anyone else thinking of this?
And earth has set behind the moon. From the perspective of the Orion capsule. For the photography nerds, next time you're in an argument about the best camera for the job… This image is from a Gopro Hero 4 (from 2014). (and then heavily compressed to save space bandwidth).
Wow. Live video from the far side of The Moon, as The Earth sets. Orion capsule, The Moon, Earth. All in one view. #Artemis
For anyone playing along at home, I've found this lunar globe webpage. Link to lunar globe, positioned vaguely to match Artemis' current view: quickmap.lroc.im-ldi.com?camera=-2545...
I wondered if you'd be able to see The Moon tonight from London, while Artemis II is flying past it: Yes, If it's not cloudy of course. Look South between 1am and 7am. theskylive.com/planetarium?...
Spending Easter Sunday as the lord intended: Listening to Dutch hardcore techno and refurbishing electronics to sell on eBay.

Unicorn is my favourite letter of the alphabet. (These look really cool!) @pimoroni.com @adafruit.com
And a drone shot of it too. (I do not recommend you fly your drone anywhere near any railway infrastructure. I am a professional drone operator, with knowledge of regulations, safety precautions, and insurance. Also, the shot is cropped and filmed from further away than it looks.)
I went on a hunt for the new Piccadilly Line tube trains yesterday. I'd seen that they were testing them around Acton Town on Saturday, so headed over there to see if I could see one, and I struck the jackpot! There was one waiting in a siding, then another came round the corner into the platform!
I'm being good and have listed some stuff I no longer use on eBay, including several ADHD impulse purchases from years gone by. Their prices aren't set in stone, there's a make offer button too.
And if you're wondering why I don't look at The Canary Islands, like the rest of British sun seekers…
It's too dark and too cold, I want to escape. Let's see where the closest warm place is to the UK. Mali and Mauritania are apparently the closest warm places. I know nothing about them other than location, so let's do a quick gov travel safety check. Ah.
