Flowchart titled "Are my pheasants livestock or wildlife?" It starts at "Were they hatched/raised in captivity?" If no, the answer is wildlife. If yes, it goes to livestock, then follows a zigzag of "but wait" caveats (wanting to release them into the countryside, wanting to shoot them, wanting to kill predators like foxes and crows that eat them, wanting to round them up to breed more, not wanting to be liable when one runs into a road) that flip the classification back and forth between livestock and wildlife at each step, ending on "wildlife" again. A little visitor in the kitchen last night, alighted on an apron. They roost just above our kitchen window, I think this one took a wrong turn and came through the open window. Apron gently moved outside, visitor moved on.

Been mowing my mother-in-law's lawn while admiring it for a lovely mix of yarrow, knapweed, birdsfoot trefoil, self-heal, buttercups and clover. So I left a bit uncut.
