Yesterday, the archaic and illiberal blasphemy laws which remain on the book in #NorthernIreland were raised by Lizzi Collinge MP in parliament. Used or not, these laws are incompatible with the fundamental human rights to freedom of expression and freedom of religion or belief.

Three in ten families across England live in areas where most or all of the closest primary schools are faith schools. Many have to contend with religiously selective admissions. Greenfield families may soon be deprived access to their local school. www.secularism.org.uk/admissions/
